Off-site fans can bid on memorabilia during Friday's 6th-annual Don Schumacher Racing/Riley Children's Hospital Open House and silent auction

Don Schumacher Racing will roll up its shop doors to race fans on Friday, Sept. 2 for the sixth annual DSR Open House to benefit Riley Hospital for Children. Fans that cannot attend the Open House can participate in the event and support the Riley Children’s Foundation during the silent auction portion of the Open House utilizing Qtego Auction Technology.

Off-site fans can bid on the list of 24 unique auction items by either a phone call or text message. Those wanting to bid on items must register their phone prior to bidding. To bid, fans must call (877) 891-4752 or text the six digit item code and their bid amount (example: to bid $75 on item 123001, reply to any Qtego text message with 123001 75).

Fans can also make a pledge to Riley by calling (888) 476-8180 or texting GIVE followed by the dollar amount. The silent auction bidding will close at 2 p.m. (ET) on Sept. 2.

DSR will be posting photos and information of the 24 auction items via social media throughout the Open House; just follow Don Schumacher Racing’s Facebook page or Twitter feed:  @shoeracing.
